We just ordered a case for our M10 on very very short notice and Cinema Oxide went above and beyond to see that our order was pushed through. We got the case and are really impressed with it’s quality and attention to detail. They were really easy to reach as well, always by his phone or email when we were finalizing the order. When I first got the case, it was exactly like other have posted, great design, well thought out and easy to travel with, but since I have been using it on location, the added benefit is – it’s presentation. Obliviously, the MoVI draws a crowd anywhere you go, but when I open up the Cinema Oxide case, I get the same response every time – WOW! It adds huge amounts of credibility to me as a MoVI Operator and allowed me to present myself as a professional, not just some dude with a new toy. You need this case.

It is fantastic to be able to balance the Movi, pack it up, then add the camera in the field and be ready to shoot. The case is not too heavy yet it is sufficiently substantial to deter theft, at least a bit. As someone who is always losing tools, I appreciate the dedicated slots for the Movi screwdrivers!

This case does exactly what it is supposed to do. The MoVI is safe and every accessory I have including follow focus, downlink, 5d and a few lenses fit into the case. I’m very happy with it and looking forward to any new accessories that come along from Jason Cases!

The case is sturdy and has plenty of space to put extra accessories such as monitors, additional chargers and batteries as well as a space to put some tools. I was searching for the right case and almost came to custom make one but luckily found this case. Jason was super helpful getting this case when the shipping company screwed up. Been using this case for a few weeks now and it’s proving to be a huge timesaver. I can rig the night before a shoot and get all balanced up, take off the camera and not have to adjust the MoVI before transporting in the case, leaving only 1 step of balance the next day on shoot. The quality of the case is fantastic. I definitely recommend getting the topsheet as it saves the integrity of the foam insert. From time of purchase to receiving the case did take a little while, but well worth it in the end.

I have the red MoVi case and its really cool – apart from time saving you get of having everything in one box, every time its been out people start taking photos of the case since its just stands out 🙂 I mean its a small status thing but for some reason back here in Russia it works so well. Anyway, i love this case. while a little big, i do have the feeling knowing the equipment is safe when we travel. I would like to have a 2nd case that holds the Redrock, extra monitors, and teradek.

Got it and LOVE it! Can’t imagine not having it now. We’ve been traveling all over the place with it and it’s holding up really well. Having a distinct place for everything really keeps things very organized and helps insure that we know when something is not in the case that should be. Plus, the ability to put the main body of the Movi in without having to undo a ton of the adjustments to make it fold up helps make packing, unpacking and set up a lot simpler as we can keep our general adjustments in place.

it arrived and we’ve been using it since Day 1. So far so good. It’s about to get shipped up to Alaska for some work up in the field, probably the first big trip I’ve sent it on.
I’m actually really glad I order the case overlay, sliding the MOVI in and out of the case has already chewed up a lot of the foam around the edges, but the overplay products it from wearing down beyond a certain point easily.
If I had any changes, I’d like the option for one larger compartment in the top left vs the small accessory compartments. My only reason for that is we tend to keep a few parts in small bags for field work, and we have to carry a second case. Once the remote control and follow focus parts are packed in , there isn’t a lot of room left to stay organized. But in the end that’s really just personal preference, there isn’t anything wrong with the solution.

I have this case and I love it. In fact I rented my Movi out to a friend who is using it today and he commented on how awesome the case is. He even said that Movi should offer it as a option when someone buys a new M10.

It is the best case I have seen and used for the Movi. From the start I wanted to find a case that allowed me to carry the Movi fully setup and this was the solution. Very robust very practical and beautiful 🙂 All the gear fits in the same case and just pull the movi out and iy is ready to shoot….well almost. But still the best way. I agree it is a little bit big but it is a fantastic case and solution.

Peace of mind, organization, and quality are all important to us while we are on the road and the Jason cases provide all three. We have used two different Freefly Movi cases and both have performed up to our expectations. We highly recommend them. Our only disappointment with the new large Movi Pro case is that it doesn’t have the hard plastic overlay but it still performs great!
