I will be honest that I seem to always find your cases to be too small. There is just never room for anything other than the exact item that is supposed to go into the case.
The Alexa Mini case is great example as you can not even fit a standard power cable in there. We purchased the one for the Tilt cage, and the fit is crazy tight, to the point that you damage the foam by simply trying to put the camera into the case.
I would suggest moving up one size of pelican and making everything a little more generous on the inside, or something.
I am aware that Jason prides himself on making incredibly compact cases with laser cut foam that is the exact size of the gear, but it all seems just way too snug for everyday use.
The Preston Light Ranger cases are similar in that since we sent them to you for design, we have added a couple of more cables, but there is no room for them in the case. So instead that live on top of the foam.
Please do not mistake what I am saying here. You guys make beautiful cases, and for a great many owner operators, I am sure they are perfect. But as a rental facility, the gear gets loaded in and out of the cases too often for such snug fitting, and the requested packages get altered enough that we always need ‘extra’ room in a case for generic items.
